Once upon a time... (crayons in hand)....
In a place called Wivenhoe, Colchester, Essex.....
The emergency services had to rescue a man who had both legs severed by a train. The police closed the line as a crime scene and were searching for a group of youths that chained the man to the tracks for a yet unknown reason.
It transpired, that the man had attempted suicide previously by laying on the tracks. He had however changed his mind and moved. On this occasion he decided there would be no backing out by chaining himself to the tracks and throwing away the key. Once again, he changed his mind, but was unable to retrieve the key and was only able to move his upper body away severing his legs... ghastly but true... I have other TRUE stories of the suicide line if you need cheering up (well only one that goes beyond lobbing yourself in front of a train)......Comment
