Was watching Generation Kill the other day....

Is this "Kill on 3" business for real or just made up for TV ... the scene was cheesy and awesome at the same time and I was wondering if people really did that.

Scrum, you should of seen what we did in the Cav!! Sqdn Formation 1200 troops standing tall... lots of dignitaries, wifes ect in the stands. Sqdn Cmd tell us..... Cav Chant on 3.. 1...2....3..... 1200 troopers grab there nuts with their right hands and all yell. "if you aint Cav...you aint Shit!!"....

Yes scrum that kinda stuff happens bro...just like a football team doing a chant before a game...

Read "one shot away". It is what Gen Kill was based on. Pretty good book.

Yep.. One Bullet Away, I think. It was by the Lt. who was in charge of the platoon. Nate Fick... check out some of the videos that he has on Youtube... standup guy, very educated, very thoughtful...the kinda guy who I wish would run for President.

LOL- its funny when you walk by another marine you don't say hi you say "kill" :)

In bootcamp when had to say this little chat every time we would sit down in a class, at the end of the chat was "KILL, KILL, KILL"

LOL!!! One time this Staff Sgt. from another platoon asked my platoon a question, I forget what he asked but nobody answered so he says "How about a Yes Staff Sgt, No Staff Sgt, Fuck You Staff Sgt!!!" We were in formation so our Platoon Sgt gave him a "1,2,3 FUCK YOU Staff Sgt!!!" It was so loud!!! Hey, he asked for it....:)
