Just a guy that knows his rights. Don't talk to cops, don't consent to searches, don't answer questions.

pretty much. But these idiots think that they must answer questions. Plus they teach the cops how to be slick talkers.

When you are not drunk or didn't drink at all you can have the confidence to act the way he did. Couple years back (before no cell phones while driving laws) I got pulled over because cop thought I was drunk. I was texting and driving and my car was drifting side to side in the lane. And while texting didn't know I was being tailed by highway patrol so I guess after watching me going side to side for a few minutes he turned his lights on and pulled me over (it was around 11pm) he came out of his car asked for the license and registration then asked me if I was drunk? Man...I let out the biggest laugh when he asked me that. He asked me if I was sure that I didn't have anything to drink, I said "positive" he asked why was drifting in my lane? I told him I was texting someone. He looked me and my stuff one more time and game me my shit back and told me to have a good night.

Have you ever talk to person who had a couple of drinks? They reek alcohol and you can smell them from a mile away. Only reason they let him go because they didn't smell anything in his breath. And that cop let me go because he knew I didn't have anything to drink. So basically he didn't do anything special or heroic. In fact they probably would've let him go much sooner if he simply just said "no"

things like this don't work with me. i refuse to answer a question and they send me to a DHS holding facility and then try to deport me.

I think I'd probably just say no.
