Damn straight, his version of Hurt is almost as good as the original to me--one of my favorite lifting songs..even though he's talking about a different kind of hurt!

i felt emotion during that version, but i don't think it'll make it to my training playlist on my Ipod. Never knew Kermit was the original author of that song--damn brilliant muppets.

Fair enough, but it is a great song, great lyrics. It has been used countless times in so many emotional scenes. The one that sticks with me is an episode of Space Above and Beyond, where one of the marines sacrifices himself to save everyone else. He has a walkman (a minor fail for an otherwise fine futuristic series ) playing this song as he gets sucked into a black hole.

                      When the man comes around.

                      Sunday morning coming down.

Great dark emotional songs. None of them are as powerful as Hurt, imo. His real pain and his voice capture it perfectly.

Yup, Bouncer loves him some wrasslin', car racin' and Johnny Cash.

                        True redneck at heart.

Nah those songs have nothing to do with country stuff, those songs are gritty to the core. Love it.
