Weekend Trip

I'm taking my kids up to Northern Michigan this weekend. There is an island called Mackinac Island, no motor vehicles allowed on the island. You take a ferry and then travel by horse and buggy or you can rent bicycles while you're there. Gonna be a nice peaceful weekend. Looking forward to it!!

Cool bro.... Never did make it up there in all my years in Illinois - closest I ever came was a 1 week canoeing trip to Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. Beautiful country up there in the upper Great Lakes region! :thumup:

We are having our annual friends and family renuion at jeckyll Island this weekend. Big BBQ, beach ect gonna be a blast!

My dad always talks about the trip he took to Mackinac island in the fifties when he was living in Duluth and working in the Mesabi. He loved it up there.
