  • Arnold Schwarzenegger's tell-all book takes bad taste to a new level

"One wonders what led him to drag his family through the mud all over again. But maybe there's poetic justice, since the whole state got screwed while he was governor."

    Terrible decision.

People had already forgotten about his affair. With his movies coming out, he would have totally changed his image back to the terminator Arnold and moved on.

Now, he is going to look like a prick all over again and in great detail too. Not sure who advised him on this but terrible move IMO.

Let me just put this out there scrum. The type of person Arnold is, as long he has attention it doesn't matter if its good or bad. As long as he is making money or has the attention its all good to him. You think he really gives a shit about his family? I doubt anyone needed to advise him on anything.

No, I don't think he gives a shit about his family and that's not what I am saying. However, he does give a pretty healthy shit about himself, and this book is going to not do him any favors. It's one thing having the image of a pot smoking, steroid using young buck having a good time, but it is entirely something else having the creepy image of a middle aged guy screwing the hired help under his wife's nose.

Every young guy would heartily endorse the former and most people I think just shrug their shoulders and go on, but the latter? No way. He is chipping away at the image that he has built up of himself - the rags to riches, self made man mythos that all Americans can identify with and look up to. The guy who conquered everything he set his mind to.

If he had an affair with a Hollywood star, that's a different story. But affairs with the maid are things that losers do. Everybody wants to be the old Arnold. Nobody is going to see this and go "boy, I wish that was me."

Anyone on hormona is going to be horny enough to cheat 100% of the time. Can't blame Arnold, blame the hormona.

Have you ever dated a bodybuilder? If so, was he faithful?

It's funny, you seem to find them hot but I get the impression you would'nt date another one

I wouldn't. I'm all for someone that takes care of their body/health, etc, but that is it. Egos are too big, require too much attention (from other people), selfish, and on and on. :)
