It would be naive to think that the military haven't tried to harness this power, we already know they can create rain in small amounts. However, the conspiracy theory parle's this into continual chem trails being released by passenger aircraft in a controlled fashion to create storms etc over homeland.

If this was the case why would they create something that just hit Zionistville?

The internet has made the world a more global place and we are all one and should all be on the same page. It's going to take some time for people to come around on this concept. Especially in the south. :whistle

overly nationalistic,,, because Im proud of where I come from and believe in freedom and a democratic society? If the USA is so bad why ya here bro? Go where its better...you wont because inside you know its not. Why do people come from all over the world to come here? because its the best place to be. if it wasnt...why would so many want to come? Ill tell ya..because it sucks where they are at. Its because their goverments are way more crooked then ours is, and IMHO our is pretty fucked up...But its a lot better then the alternatives...:agreed:

We lost power for 24 hours. Big oak tree got uprooted right down from my house and took out the power lines. We had a generator so it wasn't too bad but glad its back on!

WOW! what a storm. Power returned around 7pm Tuesday. Never have I seen a storm like this. Lost power Monday around 1pm. Back up up sump pump had a battery that was supposed to last 8 hours lasted only 4 hours. Amount of water was unreal. Roads less than a mile from here were flooded. Wind snapped trees in the distance, leaves, debris, and shit everywhere.

Ended up going to Lowe's and getting a back up generator. Hooked that up and ran important devices, sump pump, 2 refrigerators, and had power strips all over the house. By lunch time Tuesday, quarter of our neighbors had back up generators running. Spent Tuesday afternoon helping as many neighbors as I could with generators, cleaning up basements, etc...

One neighbor had 6" of water in his basement while another had a few inches. The recovery is far from over, thankfully we got the generator in time and our home is fine, could have been worse.

Saw the pictures from NJ, Delaware, NY, and Mass. Holy fuck! Heart goes out to all those people. We got lucky, they just smothered. Hope your mother is ok Bouncer.

Our friends and family in NYC cannot be reached, I hope they're fine and in a shelter or something. Glad this is over and I can resume my day to day life.

Well I have heard from most of my friends and family in NJ NY and Conn. Most have some minor damage siding ripped off fences crushed from trees ect. Thankfully no major damage. Still awaiting word from a few others. Most are without power though, except for generators.

The NE took one hell of a hit with this one those folks need all the help they can get right now.
