Buicks are looking damn good these days. Even grandpa-mobiles like the Lacrosse - I saw one parked the other day and did a double take.

I don't know about that. I don't think I'll want a giant vehicle forever, but for now I don't know if I'm ready for a car. My ex and I had an Infiniti G37s, so it isn't even that I haven't had a "nice" car.

Since yer asking for opinions...Go with the Hoe!.. the newer ones are pretty legit, and they handle off the road--not your redneck ravine jumpin', cattle chasing, stump pulling off road..but the left the pavement logging road mud, snow, and shit off road. You sit up a little higher in them, and the law of tonnage says your going to do better in an accident.

All this crossover shit makes my brain hurt, although I will say the Audi's look nice, god help you if you have to actually leave the pavement with them. But as with anything in life, its all what you think you need.

I agree here also that is why when I had my 3yr old just before she was born I ran out and pick up one.
Tahoe is just a perfect soccer mom car. its big so you can see and prob win in accident. hold stuff and kids no problem I love the way they lokk ect and the gas isnt that bad. mine has the eco thing where you can use different fule (never have) and also drops to 4 cylinder on free way when cruising or jumps to 8 when needed.
perfect for my wife amd kids I have no worries.
I will get her another one when it is time 2-3 yrs

I only work one job and it's part time because I go to school, also. I live about 3 mins from work, and really don't drive all that much anymore. My current vehicle gets about 13 mpg, ANYthing I get will be better than that. My stress isn't work or finances, it's other sources. :x

I haven't ruled out a car yet, but I will say I'd rather spend a little more in gas for something I'd feel safer/more comfortable in.
