Bro, thats exactly what every parent says after the dog attacks their kid out of the blue. Sooner or later instinct will kick in. I wouldn't take that chance. Just my thoughts...:)

I'm not afraid of pitbulls and could handle one just fine around people, but they are so damn dog aggressive which is the only thing that bothers me. I had my boxer get chewed up by one when I took her to the park. She ran up to the pitt wanting to play and he tried to kill her. I now carry a gun when I take my dog out for her protection, not mine.

There are several of us here that have explained why we like the breed, and given good experiences with them. I've had two, loved them both. One has passed away, and the other lives with my exh. He and my son are 4 months apart and have grown up together for 8.5 years now. Never has there been an issue of safety for us. Do I think he could bite his face off if he wanted? Sure. I guess that's the risk you take when you own a pet.

I think it's clear our answers aren't good enough for you, because you keep asking the same thing over and over. What can anyone really say, though? :dunno:

love ya bro but I'm staggered at your stupidity, how do.you know your.dog would never harm a baby? oh because it hasn't so far, when you been around, dog has been fed and happy.

I'll give you a scenario; the dog is hungry, pissed off, ill maybe, maybe even getting dementia or brain tumors but you never noticed anything yet, goes up to.sniff baby, baby in in nine months.time.thrusts sharpe finger nails forward, its what they.do, goes straight into dogs eyes, dog feels intense pain, reacts defensively, blam game over. by the time you get accross the room too late. a baby died from a single bite from a jack russell last week, tiny dog, less than half.the power of pit.

So your now.stood in court defending your actions saying oh well.she never behaved like that before.
