You've heard it before DONT BLAME THE BREED BLAME THE OWNER. I believe it. Though some dogs are the exception due to strong fighting instincts due to PATHETIC FILTHS that decide they wanna try to make a buck by fight these normally friendly, playful, and loyal dogs.

You need to knowledge up before start throwin out blames on breeds. I have two Pits. 1 we had since he was a pup and he is probably the nicest most submissive dog you will ever meet. All he wants to do is play love and eat. My other one is younger and a rescue. we got him at around 4-5 months old and he is now about 7 months old. He is the more dominant one who like to play a little rougher. But this is where owner patience comes into play. The reason animals attack is because they are either frightened or they are overly aggressive. BOTH ARE PROBLEMS THAT CAN BE FIXED WITH TIME AND PATIENCE. Teach your animal between right and wrong. DO NOT get frustrated and hit them and make them hurt this only will instill a fear of you or humans.

Though I understand that, yes Pitbulls can be very dangerous, and they do produce the most amount of injuries or attacks then any other dog. BUT ONLY BECAUSE PIECES OF SHIT FORCE BREED THESE ANIMALS FOR FIGHTING PURPOSES which has left most ghettos flooded by strays. US has MILLIONS, not hundreds, or thousands, but millions of pitbulls compared to the thousands and hundred thousands of any other breed.

WE ARE A PRODUCT OF OUR ENVIRONMENT IMO.


WE NEED TO START GETTING EDUCATED and stop lashing out on breeds. Whether it be Pitbulls, Rotties, Dobermans etc etc. We are all a part of this world and deserve to be treated as such. So get off your high horse and go lift some weights and stop pickin on dogs.

I worked farms, milked cows, worked with many animals including many dogs which.are common place inn the.country and arguably in a better more natural environment. I completely agree that owners and the environment they create have a huge impact on the animal and it's behaviour.

The fact remains thats different breeds have different make ups both physical and mental. Yes all dogs can bite etc but you put a pitbull in exactly them samedi upbring environment as a labrador with the same owner and the pitbull is still a far more dangerous dog than a labrador and heck when you actually engage brain and not just react emotively, you realize that they were bred with certain attributes in mind which in itself makes them dangerous by design, fact.

I wasn't gonna comment but MrI you are correct to a point. I have been breeding pitbulls for years. Pitbulls originated from the cross of bulldogs and a now extinct terrier from everywhere from Ireland, England, Pakistan, all over. The cross between the 2 breeds was aimed to produce a more athletic game bred dog for the purpose of bullbaiting and after that was outlawed dog fighting became the underground blood sport. Poverty being common in that time dog fighting was often what put food on the table for dinner. One family down the road may challenge another in a backroom brawl somewhere for a little bit of nothing. This is where the different bloodlines of pitbulls come from today from a real educated dogmen. Pedigrees traced back to the late 1800's to this day are still some of the gamest dogs on the planet and are still bred for the original purpose and 9 times out of 10 you will not see these dogs in public. And for the record back in that era match rules were if your own dog bit you your opponent or anyone else for that matter you lose off top. They were not originally bred for human aggression and the ones that showed these signs were put down immediatly. Today they are a totally confused breed being bred for size and human aggression and looks rather than the athleticism that once made them famous. #1 they were never bred to be pets they were bred to be gladiators and people try to change that into something it cannot be thus why you see all over the news about all the pitbull attacks. Again when it comes to this breed alone its all in the bloodlines what flows in their veins what they were bred to do..fight and never ever give up ever.

I had other dogs and cats and they all got along great. They didn't like other big dogs, though (that weren't mine), if that makes any sense. I guess ones they felt could be threatening? :dunno:

I don't know if I have the best of luck with socialization. I did everything to socialize Zorro, and he won't let strange people or animals anywhere near him.

My dog has a huge histiry all tracked and breed by dog lovers not fighters. the instinct to atack other animials will be hard to get outta of them but humans is simple most are not bred that way other than Ghetto back yard shit.
