I was asking about something in particular (STRAIGHT TALK) that was only $45 a month (originally thought $50) and had NO contract.
I never mentioned switching carriers :fight:

I would recommend downloading swiftkey (keyboard app), it is great. You can long press and get numbers, send longs texts by pressing a few buttons, etc.....
The battery is going to take 2-7 days to really break in to a good cycle, but I promise that it gets better.

Skimmed the thread..Bouncer I have the samsung GS2 AT&T my cousin she is really computer/smartphone/Ipad anything techinal brilliant. She hooked me up all you do is go to straight talks site and order the sim for whatever phone you have 15 bucks get it in the mail call sraight talk from another phone and they walk you through the set up. They buy time from AT&T verizon all the major phone companies in bulk and just sell it cheaper kinda like I used to do in the dope game when I was a young gangster :D no for real the service you have runs off the same towers the major companies use. My family lives way out in the sticks a lot of people can't get service out their I have service pretty much everywhere 4g 45 bucks a month with tax its 49.00. 30 bucks talk and txt no web 15 bucks talk only monthly. My dad has a 120 dollar bill every month through AT&T and I have the same service for less than half. If your phone is locked they will walk you through the steps to unlock it.

I used to have Metro PCT, and now i have Revol(verizon owned) and it's 42.50 a month unlimited everything. Same for Metro PCS. No contract but you have to pay your bill in full by midnight of the due date to avoid service cancellation. Then i think it's 25 to restore service. But yeah, i'll never do contracts again.
