          I sure wouldn't mind the stock of organic protein he has. Protein in all its forms gets so damn costly. I haven't hunted since I left pa where we did it more out of necessity. But I miss the big chest freezers full of venison and other game.

              I saw two bald eagles fighting when I was younger in Alaska. One died. I wonder if they normally do that?

                    Agreed, but most of the time it is content scavenging dead fish. It is primarily a fish eagle. Bigger badass is the golden eagle imo... Truly a magnificent bird.

                      Very rare. Usually the fights are just ritual to establish pecking order.

                        Would love to have one as a trained pet. Give it signals and go take heads off; I have a long list too. But you're not on on the list.....yet lol.

                        I wonder what kind of power those claws really have. What I mean; as in true raw numbers. Kind of like the bite of a shark.

                          agreed !!! watched many vids of them hunting . grabbing goats and dropping them off side of a cliff .. very smart bird

                            Yeah, saw that on a documentary the other day. Golden eagle rams into a young mountain goat and knocks it off the cliff, then comes circling down to settle down for a leisurely meal.
