So I use to knock these things as a bullshit gimmick. Got one for Christmas so I said ehh wtf lets give it a try. I gotta tell ya, this thing is pretty fucken cool and makes damn good coffee and I know what good coffee is. I have a french press and a bean grinder etc.. and this thing makes coffee just as good. All about the brand of coffee you use with it. Go with the Caribou blend, as good as any coffee I have ever had. Super simple to.

Although I rarely use it anymore, my Keurig is pretty much what got me hooked on coffee. I've heard good things about the Caribou, but haven't tried it. I do like the Golden French Toast when I feel something sweet, though.

Love mine bro. But only drink coffee on weekends. I have the same one. Apple cider is good stuff too.

Initially they were just convenient but not much of a selection of coffee. Now you can pretty much get most major brands of coffee to use in them.

The coffee is way overpriced. I stopped using mine. Add it up per pound and you are paying more then double.

Also, fill the tank up while it is connected to the machine. Those pumps fail a lot on the machine, and some contribute it to air bubbles getting in the line.

Originally, the coffee wasn't as expensive. But you're definitely right, it's way overpriced. You can always use the cup you fill yourself with your favorite coffee, though. I love my Cuisinart. I can make a bigger cup and most importantly, it makes the coffee boiling hot.

You also have to use distilled water. I was using regular water and eventually it clogged up. Returned it for a new one at no cost. Now they have reusable filters so you can buy any type of coffee.

Reusable filters remove the convenience of the kcup experience.

                    Well duh!

But some of the best coffee from around the world has yet to be made for kcups. So having a filter that can be reused is great. I don't have one because I could care less; I'm happy with the kcups that are on the market today.

I think it would be too expensive. I drink 3/4 of a pot every day. lol Although they do make a good cup of coffee.

the cleanup and convience is great. it makes an average or below cup of coffee. it doesn't brew hot enough or slow enough at least the older models. I gave mine away but miss the easy setup and cleanup.

Sounds like the older ones were garbage. This one definitely makes the coffee hot enough.

Tried the sample pack coffee it came with today (green mountain) and it was pure shit. The quality of the cup of coffee is all about the brand you use. Dumped that piss out and put in a caribou med roast, yum yum.

Picked up these the other day. Def NOT as good as the Caribou which is funny because I like dunkin donuts coffee when bought from the actual place over caribou.
