Someone who is clearly overweight(100 lbs over max allowable weight in the airforce) to get out and get some exercise? She always remarks how she'd like to go to they gym with me, but never follows through, she's big as all hell and I feel bad for her! But I just can't think of anything to motivate her:( I know she must feel like crap, her uniforms don't fit right she eats junk constantly, but won't workout? I'm confused:( Don't know what to do:dunno:

1st step...get her online to this board. Then show her my before and after pictures and teach her how to eat and train. I always thought following a "diet" alone would work...it didn't. But, joining the gym and getting bad training didn't work either. It wasn't until I got into the gym with my husband and found fitness sites like this one that I was able to make real permanent changes. That's about all you can do...just give her some motivation and the right information...the rest is up to her.

I love doing that, i love motivating people of all weights, whether thier skinny, fat, whatever. At the recreation center where i go and work out my legs all saturdays and sometimes on tuesdays, i motivate people there. People tell me how did u get those arms, chest, or damn u got a huge back. I love tose compliments. I try to teach them proper ways to work the muscle right. Like I see alot of people swining on the rope press down going with momentum. I tell them thats all wrong. I teach them and boom there they go.
One thing that made me feel awesome was when one guy never spoke to me and always looked at me. I was like this guy probably has something against me. One day he comes up to me and asks me on how to get bigger. I told him what i took, i didnt tell him i juiced, but i told him to up his protein and caloires, eat 5-6 meals a day, not so big nor small. I told him about whey protein, like the one i buy. Several months later i saw the guy and he was 15 pounds heavier. I was 2 months since I seen him. The guy was around 5'10'' 170 pounds before, now when i saw him he was like 190 or so. That made me feel proud of the progress the guy did.
Also, for leg presses. I do them correctly and get good results from them. People there wouldnt do them right, including my sister and aunt. Now that I have corrected them my sisters legs are an inch or 2 bigger, as so as my aunts.
I just love helping out people.:)

congats on that progress girl, thats what Im talking abot motivation. When you want something so bad , you go for it. Ive seen alot of people who give up half way cause they dont lose weight nor gain wiegh. This all takes time and effort. I see people on diets and they're either drinking or at times eating huge burgers. How do u expect to lose weight in that case But ike I said if u really want it,go for it. No matter how long it takes. Im about to post some seriousl pics of me when i was 5'11'' 130 pounds. Thats skinny, and the recent ones of me at 230 within a 5 year span:)

I beleive this girl I'm talking about weighs about 260 though:eek: She had a baby about 7 months ago, and never lost ANY weight, in fact, she gained weight:( I hate seeing that, it's so sad to see people get to where they think they can't change themselves:(

like my mom is short about 5'4'', she has little tendancies of gaining weight if eating wrong. When she had me, she said she didnt want to gain weight at all. So what she did was eat clean and did alot of aerobics and cruches. I swear she didnt gain a pound, and after having 3 kids shes still the same, maintains everyitng. Shes 43 right now and at times when she dresses up looks like if shes in her 20's. Thats the thing of wanting it bad:D
