So we're looking at bo0king another winter holiday, probably January next year and I have my eye on Montego Bay.

But before this we wanna do a city break and meet up with some freinds, now I'm hearng Chicago is a fun city but the other option is Miami where we would have a place to stay provided free

Which one would you recomend for say May-August

Have you been to either of those cities before? A free place to stay is pretty cool, if you're sticking with a budget. Two totally different cities, both with things to do, though.

i wouldnt even view Miami as a "city". the downtown area is a dump and there is nothing to do.

what you are talking about is Miami Beach. its pretty much my favorite place to be but you have to view it as a beach vacation instead of a city trip.

with Chicago you get the big city skyline, hustle and bustle of a major city and everything that goes along with that. just something to keep in mind.
