I've gotten some opinions from some people in the turbo business (lol) and they said definitely go with it.

The Eco boost is a [B]super charged[B] 6 cylinder engine by ford.

To answer your question fit, I know a few guys that have one, and I've driven one myself. Personally I love it. I love the concept and the feel of it. You definitely notice the 6 cylinder for a split second at first take off, but once the super charger kicks in, it's gone.
Mechanical wise, I've heard mixed reviews. Some guys have non stop issues and one guy I know has almost 60,000 miles with no issues.
