Bouncer I know you are just getting into this stuff so make sure you goto bar or find place on line to watch it. the main card is awsome. with Edgar vs Also this IMO is a true super fight even though edgar lost his belt. you will also wann see the monster overreem and his pure in your face smashing. Big foot has a legit threat on the ground so if he uses his striking wise he can clip overreem as he will be worried about take downs.
and then there is evans dont like him much but he is a good fighter.

Im gonna pay for it as I think the edgar aldo fight will be insane. I am also a overreem fan so its a no brainer for me.

I hope overeem makes his way to the top. He's an exciting hw. Aldo is just brutal little fucker. Edgar is underrated. I mean he is at the top but never seems to get the respect that goes with his accomplishments.

Not a bad card, they have charged for far worse IMO. And lets be real..have you watched a boxing PPV in the last decade..you talk about not getting your $$'s worth. I think the UFC has a good mix right now of PPV, as well as offering free fights. Obviously your not going to see superstars but you will see stars for free on FOX.

I agree that Aldo/Edgar is going to be a good fight. And one I am unsure about honestly. Edgar is perhaps the most underrated fighter in the UFC if not the planet. And most of Aldo's victories came via the WEC. Hes only fought in the UFC three times, against good but not great opponents. Lots of guys from the WEC have trouble with the skill level of the UFC..we will see. I think Aldo's record is a bit deceiving when you look at the class of fighter he fought prior.

Curious also how Overeem deals with a legitimate ground threat in the UFC with MMA rules. This could be a legit test, or he could put Silva on his face in the first round. Can't dispute he hits and kicks like a train. Silva seems to have gotten better though IMO.

All and all its not a bad card, one that I will pay for just because there is some good talent. Even the prelims look entertaining---and they are free on Facebook and Fox.

I like all the main card fights. Id pay for it. J. Benavidas vs Ian McCall could be one of better fights of the night.

Honestly...no. I think he is a very good fighter and I think he was great in WEC...I also think that he has enough gas in the tank of his career that he could adjust, peak, and make a run. But yet again we are looking at a guy that had the majority of his success fighting in lower tier promotions and has only gone 2-2 since hitting the UFC..is he scrappy and do I love to watch him? Absolutely. Do I think he is the best in the world in his weight class. No, I simply don't-- his inability to modify his striking is very telling, especially at the level he is at now. And lets remember Mike Brown destroyed him as well-actually beat him twice, and I don't think anyone thinks that Brown is close to the best in the world.
