This one kills me. The composure of that little boy :bawl:

Eight-year-old Christian Golczynski accepts the flag for his father, Marine Staff Sgt. Marc Golczynski, during a memorial service. Marc Golczynski was shot on patrol during his second tour in Iraq (which he had volunteered for) just a few weeks before he was due to return home.

Lots of good shots there... the shot of the Parisian weeping when the Nazis invaded was actually when the French flag that was flying over the Arc de Triomphe (I think) was taken down to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Nazis. The sight of the flag being taken down and the symbolism therein was too much for him to bear.
I am surprised however at the following not being included:
Vietnamese girl running from napalm attack:

Saddam's statue is pulled down:

And of course, a couple of staged ones (powerful nontheless):

Yea that picture IMO is probably one of the best I've ever seen. That kid takes it like a true warrior(like his dad)and the look on his face is just amazing. I'd like to see him 20yrs from now hopefully serving our country.Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostThis one kills me. The composure of that little boy :bawl:
