  • Anyone have experience of depakote??

I've just been prescribed depakote. Its a medication for epilepsy and bipolar, the doc wants me to take it as it stabalises mood.

All I've managed to find on the medication is negative, high liver toxicity, reduces test, weight gain and possibly breast enlargement. All the good stuff.

I've so far found conflicting articles on increasing test but the majority lean towards blocking test and increasing estrogen (which ties with man boobs).

I'm currently running 500mg test-e ew and plan on continuing for another 10 weeks before reducing to 250mg.

Any experience on this med with test-e? I cant really bring the topic up with my GP as the default response will be to stop the test no matter what.

I'll continue trawling for information on the net tomorrow.

Cheers Mr I, its a bit of an odd one, thanks for getting back to me though

Only mention of it on here was from members who used to take it and not while on any form of cycle.

No interaction listed in lexicomp between test and depakote. The mechanism of how depakote works is not known, so the potential interactions if any aren't exactly established.

If it were me i would continue to take the test with the new depakote.

Don't search just for depakote and test, broaden the search and look at anti psychotics and test.

Thanks Turbo, my initial thoughts were to keep the test going too.
