Ok, not really....but I feel like I'm constantly "crossing my fingers", if you will...

I seriously need all the positivity I can get right now! What is *HOPEFULLY* my last court date is approaching next week. It is to decide an $18,000 tax bill - that is not mine. I have already spent about $20,000 on attorneys. I am so exhausted, so frustrated, just can't do this anymore. :bawl:

So anyway....keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. I deserve a break! :)

No, the $20k is total so far just for the divorce. We've been divorced for awhile, but now he wants me to be responsible for his taxes from 2009 and 2010 (he didn't change his deductions, etc, so he ended up owing each year). It's a ludicrous situation that really makes NO sense. It will be a huge injustice if I am forced to pay this.

And I meant that $20k was just my half. He has spent at least that much, as well. Hard to believe that much money has been thrown out the window for nothing - when we have two kids that need to go to college, etc.

Holy hell. Truly an injustice. Ludicrous that you even have to fight it. I really hope it works out for you.

Thanks. If he is ever going to get his share of all this stress, I sure hope it is now.

Its not going to last FB, clarity will be forthcoming and one way or another you will then have a schedule and certainty. So don't sweat it, all you can do is put your case.

Going forwards you and your daughter will hopefully enjoy more predictable and happier tommorrows
