Here ya go B, 1984 patrolling the East German Border.Choppered in 20K Dismounted patrol Choppered out that day in sector with about 70 lbs in that ruck. I was humping(at that time) the best hand held Thermal site in the Army Inventory. We could see Rabbits at night 1 km away.Back in the day when I was a bad ass CPL...or so I thought...:rofl:Thats shit was waist deep all day. I had to be point as I was tall enough to make a path so the rest of the guys could get thru it...:weights:
