When I posted this, my aunts prognosis was a positive one. The medical board and specialist were very confident that with the removal of her lymph nodes and colon along with aggressive chemo, she would beat it. However this was prior to discovering that it was hereditary due to testing positive for Lynch Syndrome.

Oct 31 there were no signs of cancer. As of yesterday, she has a golf ball size tumor in her stomach and uterus and has been given only a few months to live.

This is devastating for our family. She is that "one person" in everyone's family that has that special thing about them; charisma, positivity, ray of hope and sunshine.

She is only 48 years old.

Yes. So young. Very health conscious woman too. Will be leaving behind 3 young daughters. They're a fucking mess. We're trying so hard to help them, but what do you tell teenage girls to help them cope with the harsh reality that their mother is dying?

We're a strong family. Moving forward is the only option. She will tell her girls to live happy and productive lives. And I have faith that they will do everything in their power to honor her wishes but it will not be easy. I can't imagine what is going through their minds right now.

That sucks...very tough place for them to be in. Hopfully they stay strong and pull together as one to continue to live good strong lives.

Aw bro I'm sorry man. Shit sucks. Lost my grandma last week but you expect these things when the person is 86 years old. 48 is just way too young. 2 yrs ago my buddy got diagnosed with cancer and given 3 months to live too, was early 50's for him...hang in there homes
