  • End to a good day...

Took Madison to the aquarium then met up with some friends for grilled filets and hot sausage; ended the night relaxing by the outside fireplace that I can proudly say I helped create. And by help, I mean I was the grunt lugging the stone, lol.

To the left (outside of the photo) of the fireplace will be an outdoor grilling station.

Good looking fireplace. Wouldn't mind chilling there with a Sam Adams summer ale!

Now you just need to come help me put in an outside brick oven in my yard so I can make proper North East thin crust pizza out here in Chi town. :D

Lol. Funny you say that, I told him he should have added a pizza oven too.

It was in the 50s last night. A perfect chill to sit there and relax. Once the stones absorb the heat the entire area that is sitting on tarazzo tile warms up really well.

Over the last year, we have cut down and split the about 80 (50-60') pine trees to clear the area for future plans. There will be sufficient fire wood for quite some time.

Not sure bro. He spent about 40k on multiple projects about the same time.

Once the fire stones heat up it maintains heat around the area very well. It is great for down here where a cool night averages in the 50s. It wouldn't be worth shit in a northern winter unless you were right in front of it.
