  • hypoglycemic?

Whats up everybody? Been away a little lately, been feeling like complete shit! No energy, kinda down, a couple times at work I felt very "weird" like I was going to pass out or something, bad headaches, hard time focusing. I thought I was just sick with the flu or something. I went to the ER a few days ago and they didn't find anything. Well I was talking to this guy that said he was feeling the same symptoms. He is running HGH too. And said somebody told him that the HGH causes hypoglycemia. I tried reading up on it and the symptoms seem to match mine (depression, vertigo, insomnia, palpitation of the heart, sweating, weakness, mental fussiness, trembling, blurred vision) but I honestly couldn't grasp the article. Anyone know how to take care of this? Is it basically blood sugar is too low?

Ya I get the shakes and sweat all crazy even feel like I am gonna pass out.
heres the trick drink something like OJ for quick fix but to keep it fixed you need protien and slow carbs brown rice ect. High protien is best belive it or not.
shit carbs just make it worse in the long run so if it gets to bad I would look at diet real close

but as said quick fix is someting like OJ or apple juice.

Thanks! I will switch to brown rice. Yesterday was a bad one, I thought maybe I was dehydrated or something but I was drinking water. So I went and got a Gatorade and I was craving something sweet really bad! About 20 minutes later I felt better.

I've been there before with Igf and Apple Juice was awesome. It hit me quick and I was fine afterwards. Going Hypo is no joke!

how is your protien intake? how many MGS you think you get per day? sounds stupid but high protien helps with low blood sugar.
but once it crashes your in need of a quick fix thats for sure it sucks. I actually pretty comfy with it now and I have rid it out just to see what happens and belive it or not it goes away. well at least the shakey dizy feeling, lol
my blood sugar have been low as 49 and I would doubt lower that was just lowest I measured on gluclose meter

I think that is just fixing a problem for the short term. You need to get to root cause of the problem.

I know you are running GH, are you also running IGF? Any other prescription meds?

If I were you I would stop the GH and IGF for a month. If symptoms go away then you have solved your problem.

Buy a cheap glucometer and record fasting, post meal, and do a couple of test at random. I would do it for a week and see if you can spot a pattern.

my guess is he is not diabetic just like I am not been tested 500 times cuz I thought thats what it was. problem is most docs are fucking stupid. my HRT doc just told me about it the other day.
high protien diet is more important than carbs if you eat carbs we all do then they need to be good ones not shit carbs.
the only thing going on in him is the Gh is lowers his blood sugar and I bet his diet aint on point or maybe even went to long without eattin.
when on GH and clean diet if I dont eat ever 3 hours this will happen to me every time.
avoid any carbs that will spike sugar and crash this is when your blood level will crash also giving you that weird feeling.
this isnt as bad for people not taking GH although still can happen if you dont eat before the crash

yea i doubt he is diabetic. my point is, if his sides are so bad that he is going to the doc about it and its causing depression etc.. maybe its time to come off whatever is causing those sides or at least lower the dose.

Get the diet straight and you will rarely go hypo. Booze makes it worse btw.

I rarely go hypo now, but I can't skip eating on my schedule.

My diet is pretty clean (chicken, white rice, green beans or asparagus) I don't drink alcohol, but there have been a few times where I did go without eating a little too long. I noticed it happens like 4 hours after my gh shot. I thought I was having a stroke or something...lol

I'm going to get one of those testers to watch it. And get on a tighter schedule with my meals.

yup waiting to long to eat does it to me everytime. clamp down that 3 hour timiing and if needed go 2.5 if you feel the weird shit comming on.

Yeah, I eat before work around 6am and its usually something quick like a shake then there are times I don't get to eat untill around 11am or so. I'm going to start taking some food in the office with me. The post office is on for every minute of our day so taking 10 mins to eat in the office is a huge hassle. Out in the street I try to stop and eat a little every couple hours.
