Verizon and unlimited usage data

So I'm still under that plan and I have ways around it buy keeping it. Basically I have to add a data plan to another phone that doesn't have it, since I have several lines. Then get my new phone and swap it back.

What pisses me off and they deny it like no other. I know for a fact they're restricting my usage. I've gone literally from 2-3g's a month on just one phone to 12g's a month, not including the other phones. That's because I tether off my phone with apps and other shit.

But it's coming to an end and this is total BS:mad: I would go back to Sprint and I hate their customer service but the service itself was great. I was with them for ten years plus. I love Verizon, yes I pay more, but they take care of me all the time.

Like today, I needed a new car charger, went in and got a new one because the guy "knows" me:D Feels great...But seriously, Verizon is top notch IMO.

Just sucks that soon(and I know this was mentioned before)they will do away with it:disagree:

Just didn't want to cross that bridge I guess and the way it was explained to me today, it's happening soon.

Basically what I'm doing now is converting the phones with no data, getting the upgrades(because when you upgrade, you lose the unlimited data)and then switching back over to still have the unlimited...That will buy me 2 more years.

Now here's the thing though. As long that I don't upgrade the phone I'm getting soon, then I will keep the unlimited. So essentially this could be 3-4yrs before I'm fucked. Because I would sign a 2yr contract and then go month to month like I have some lines and then finally when the phone is on it's last leg, throw the towel in.

If I'm in a contract, they can't take that away from me.

It does suck...I knew it would happen one day, but now I really have to play with system and sign my 2yr contract so I'm locked in and basically gonna have to keep that phone until it dies. Because once I upgrade, I will lose my unlimited everything. I mean by that time, I'm certain they will not have any of the unlimited or grand father people in.

I'm sorry if it came out like a wise ass....It doesn't "follow" me around...It's just what's going to happen whether we like it or not. I'm just going to work the system a bit. I'm not the "norm" that has one or two lines so I try to get the best deals possible and the most out of them.
