  • How do all of you cope with stress?

I love to drive; I'm to myself, alone, my music etc...My other way of coping with stress is my love for jiu jitsu and lifting comes second now.

But I still feel stress, or maybe that's not the right word I should use. But ED I feel as if I'm getting nothing accomplished(although I am), I always worry about EVERYTHING; you name it...I worry or think about it.

"hard work always beats talent" My new favorite saying...:) Just in one of those moods.

The gym really helps me. I really believe if I didn't have that "therapy" in the gym everyday I would really be in trouble.

Definitely music to. I can listen to music for hours and just get lost in my head. Speaking of which, remember that song sail ww both liked? You will like this. http://www.superiormuscle.com/forums...ic-makes-funny

Funny I still listen to Sail and I actually listen to it before I roll...great beat, lyrics, etc...Is there anything else other than the gym bro? I know you hate to drive..Cooking? If you had no gym for an entire week, what would or could you do to disconnect yourself from the outside world; that's pretty much how I look at it.

I have sail on my gym playlist, listen to it about 2-3 times a week just blasting.

I don't hate to drive. I hate traffic but I like driving. I actually enjoyed that 800 mile drive I made back home for Christmas. Just took my time and was in no rush.

I enjoy cooking up my meals for sure, not sure it helps me like the gym and music do. I guess the only other thing I can think of is going on vacation. That is really the only time I am not dieing to go to the gym.

Driving in any sort of traffic sucks, but for some odd reason I tend to like it. You see other peoples habits, what they do, how pissed they get etc...I don't like the bumper to bumper shit...I love to cook, guess we both do. But I hate cooking for myself. It takes 20mns to make something and takes me 3mns to eat it lol.

--Music. Even music that would seem depressing. Sometimes it's "comforting" to know that someone else has felt that exact same way - if that makes sense.

--Time alone. I don't have a lot of it, but when I get a day I really enjoy the time.

--Retail therapy. Yeah, I'll admit that *sometimes* I like to shop and forget about the rest of the world.

--Weekend getaways or vacation. I like having something to look forward to. Even if it's a quick trip to the Bahamas. If I can count the days down to *something*, it's exciting to me.
