  • Ruth Chris Steakhouse

This place is supposed to be decent right? Yea no. Appetizer was shit, steak was chewy and gummy and the sides were crap.

$60 for the cut of meat alone. When the waitress asked how it was I just gave her a look. Manager came out took 1 look at the steak and knew they should not have sent it out.

Even though they took the steak off the bill and gave me a free dessert to boot you still wont catch my ass there again. Filt steakhouse! F-

Must have been bad night or it's a shit location. I've been to numerous and have never had a bad experience. Over priced but never a bad steak.

yea not sure wtf the deal was. all this talk about 1000 degree oven and 500 degree plate from the waitress and i get served something i could do at home on the grill and enjoy it more for 1/3 the price.

i do appreciate them taking it off the bill and giving me free dessert though. total subtracted from the bill was like $75! would have rather enjoyed it though. even the dessert "chocolate explosion" was very mediocre.

I dont care how reputable, fancy, acclaimed, etc... a steakhouse is. Very rarely do I have a steak that is better then my own home grilled ribeye or porterhouse.

I personally am a huge fan of Fogo De Chao. Much better quality and it's all you can eat. Went there for lunch after NYE, $35/person special.

I had to look up if that place was still around, looks like it but none left in jersey or chicago. I used to love them when I was a kid.

Lol. My ol man worked out of town all week and when he came home Friday night sizzler was the typical family dinner outing.

You must have never been. Totally ridiculous statement. Applebee's is the absolute bottom of the barrel; frozen microwave entrees.

Oddly the only one that I have been to was in Seoul Korea and it was dry aged Kobe beef and was probably one of the best steaks I've had in my life layers and layers of flavor.
