I have been on 3 cruises and I do enjoy them but I find just flying directly to a resort a bit more relaxing. If I were to do a cruise again it would probably be an Alaska one.

Really is personal preference for sure. If you just want to relax and lay on the beach, then yeah, I get that. I like short cruises for just a relaxing quick getaway, and it's easy for me because the port is right here in my county. I like longer cruises because it enables me to "check off" more places on my travel list. I like that you can be somewhere different each day.

And yes, Alaska is a beautiful place to cruise. :swoon:

Carnival is slashing its prices because of all the bs they went through. Horror stories no food (except bread or w.e the coast guard left) or working bathrooms for weeks.
