The issue for me is the government feeling that one, they have the right to mandate I provide healthcare of their approval-while unemployed and illegal immigrants get it free, and TWO thinking they have the authority to levy a fine to me if I don't. I have a basic fundamental right to decide to buy health insurance or not. If I don't I roll the dice and take my chances. But forcing me to buy it or fining me is bullshit, beyond the scope and authority of our government and its going to be a complete clusterfuck. Especially on the employer side of things. Does anyone not see a problem with this?

The government works for the people, the will of the people. Those are the concepts and principles our republic was founded on. The government is not the authority to dictate your rights to you.

Fanatical? Not by traditional definition, but depends on what your standard is. Persistent? Absolutely.

I've been on this board a very long time, don't post wily nily. If fact I don't post much at all. However if something compels me, I chime in. Things like this compel me. The solution you ask for..it starts with knowledge and education above and beyond what mainstream media, and political motivation, will tell you. Thats where the change starts, and honestly the only place it will be effective-hence why I post what I do, and often. I would rather someone came away looking at things from a different perspective...in this case such as why the government is able to regulate this kind of thing and take your money if you don't comply, then simply just go along to get along.
