  • Georgia Town Holds First Integrated Prom

Welcome to the 2oth century, Georgia! :clapback: By the way, the rest of the world has moved on to the 21st century.

Seriously, come on! Is this for real? :retard: At least the kids seem to have more sense than the adults. Shame!

And here is the Georgia governor making a fool of himself, calling the whole thing a publicity stunt?

Really? A student-initiated effort to eliminate segregation is a publicity stunt?

Nice going, party of stupid! I have said this before... it boggles the mind to think that this is the party of Lincoln! Oh how the GOP has fallen!

That story is stupid, but you hatred of Republicans and love of Democrats is almost just as silly.

Both parties suck. Republicans are lost and have no direction, Democrats are on the complete socialism train. They both just want control and do the minimum to get reelected.

I think you couldn't have read me more wrong.

I have no particular love for the Democrats. Conversely, I don't have any in-built hatred for the GOP. I want a strong, vibrant GOP. I do however believe that the GOP has been taken over by the loonies. No matter what position, they are so far to the right that are losing relevance. And that is a bad thing even though I tend to be center to slightly left.

I want a strong GOP that can challenge the Democrats and actually do something useful. Actually I correct myself. It is not just that the GOP is way over to the right. It is that they have become a profoundly anti-science, anti-intellectual party. Moreover, the GOP has a real credibility problem with attracting centrist white voters, as well as any and all minorities and women. They recognize that, I think and at least have been talking about addressing this. But time and time again, they have come out and done something boneheaded like this.

I don't know what is more astounding - that a US state would have a racially segregated social institution in the 21st century, or that the leader of the state is unable to make a statement against it.

        Boom fucking boom!!!

I wish I could articulate thoughts and opinions as well as you.

I obviously read too much into your earlier statements, but I pretty much agree with everything above.

You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman.
