    As everyone else has said, charcoal is without a doubt best for taste but gas is just so much easier and the reason I use it.


    I was going to suggest the same thing before prices were mentioned. Get a cheap grill to make sure it's gas you really like, and that the novelty of it doesn't just wear off.

      And cheap grills if taken care of can last a long time. Got 6 years out of my last Lowes special.

          I found it hard to find parts for the cheap grills and they rust easy look like shit after a yr.
