    My Car blew up today :(

    So I went and ate breakfast at a cafe, driving back and the power starts faltering and revs drop to cut out, then some loud lose clanging sounds, I get near home and the hose is pissing steam, I got how before it over heated.

    Waved it off on back of a lorry taking it to my freinds garage, I'm just hoping its not too serious, the radiator fan propeller was without two blades that must have dissintegrated someplace, think it threw a hose straight into the fan.

    I don't know about you but when ride blows out its like a punch to the stomach lol

    Hope it's nothing major.

    I just a spent few hours on Wednesday replacing the radiator in our suv. Dealer wanted $1200 parts and labor. I did it for under $150.

      I wish I was that competent, with this and couple other things I reckon im looking at $1500 layout.

        exactly why i like to lease cars. get a brand new car every 3 years (its best years) and get rid of it before anything goes wrong with it.

          Usually the hardest part is the proper diagnosis.

          You can find step by step tutorials and videos online for damn near everything. You don't even have to own all the tools here. You can rent them for a deposit of their new value and as long as they're returned in working order you get your deposit back. More borrowing than renting really.

            Well replacing a radiator is bloody impressive as far as I'm concerned, good job
