We ended up in some lame restaurant and had the absolute WORST service ever. I swear I almost walked out on the bill because I could NOT find our server - and I would never in a million years do that. We only ever got one tiny drink. We asked the host, the bartender, everyone. It was pathetic.

It would be cool, lAST TIME I WAS IN THE CITY WAS 1987. I took the wife there to see all the sites. It was her first time in the states. Other then that was 94/ 95 time frame, back when I was a Drill Sgt. I flew in for a buddies wedding. But I didn't make it to the city.

It's about going to places I HAVEN'T been in NYC to eat. New hot spots pop up every month and considering I haven't been to the city in well over a year, that's a lot of new things. Hell, the sky line even looks different since I was there last..
