I have heard nothing but good things about this place. Though I can't stand korean food.

I would like to find an authentic Korean restaurant down here. Love me some galbi, bulgogi, mandu, and kimchi.

Not my cup of tea. Where exactly are you, blm? I have tons of Korean friends who probably know of a place in most major cities.

Ditto for my side of the state.

My dad buys good kimchi from an Asian market, but that's about the extent of Korean we ever get.

I thought you despised everything even remotely associated with the Korean peninsula, blm! :)

I don't know if I like Korean food in general or just Korean BBQ. Are they always the same kind of restaurant? I am talking about the kind where there are little grills right at your table and you can grill all your meat, veggies right there. They usually serve it with lettuce and rice so you can make a little wrap. There are a few really good Korean bbq's around here.

What you like is Korean BBQ. Those that don't the bbq thing are usually like a regular restaurant with NO cooking at table.

Funny, I was sitting here on yelp looking for a Korean place nearby.

Korean bbq is what you are referring to, as am I. An authentic restaurant might call it Gui with Banchan; basically grilled foods with the sides.
