I had a little bit of Unearthly and didn't care too much for that.

These are my favorite beers as of now. I love IPA or double IPA. The Peak Organic IPA has been the smoothest tasting beer I've ever tasted that's an IPA, just refreshing and it's such a nice crisp taste.

Hot Notch is great and high in a/v for a beer.

Lagunitas is simply amazing but has somewhat of a caramel coating on the throat; but damn good.

The Monster zero calorie drinks are my coffee I have ED; only one a day. :D

Really good local beer. Not sure if you can get it outside of Chicago or not.

My all time favorite is Sam adams chocolate bock but it only comes in the winter variety 12 pack.

What kind of flavor is that?

Think Sam Adams with a slightly stronger hop taste.

                      Then I'd like it.

I know you said it's probably sold only there. But will check out New Englands largest supplier over here. Not far from where I stay at.

I love my double IPA beers as of late. Almost want to start drinking vintage beer:gaydo:

Had some Red Hook IPA last night. I was pleasantly surprised. Not real bitter over the top hops taste.

I had their Audible pale ale the other day. Not too shabby either.

I lucked out with a few beers this weekend. Everything I ordered I liked, not usually the case.

                            Italian Doppelbock.

I know I've talked about it before, but since that thread is gone and you mentioned Doppelbock - there's a German one called Spaten Optimator that's good. It's very bready tasting, and rich, so it's not something you drink several of. Give it a try.

This is a pretty solid IPA choice. It has a little bit of a fruity taste to it, but definitely hoppy all the way through.
