GSP or Jones....Two of the best in the world...Buchecha and Rodolfo right now are even on the mat..They even fought at the world ADCC and Buchecha won again..notice how Buchecha doesn't even give him the knuckle tap but ironically they both train together, which almost all of them do.... Andre has put his time in like Roger Gracie and others. But watch this match; fucking gives me the chills watching it. both guys in early 20's ripping it up!!!

I love the respect that people have in our art. In MMA, Boxing, etc...often times you hear a lot of trash talking between opponents for promotional hype.

In Jiu Jitsu, you have some of the greatest practitioners of our time talking about how difficult it will be to beat each other. They talk about their opponents strengths and why they are dangerous, not about their opponents faults.

And although it may not be as controversial nor exciting to see guys who hate each other talk trash, there's so much more of an air of respect and regal civility in the subtext of that promo (and between Braulio and Rodolpho) that makes me proud to be part of this culture.

Thanks..I'm addicted to it; going on 13yrs or so. Shit almost forgetting how long I've been at it. But this is why I love BJJ. We go out there to dominate one another and no such thing as a loss, but we learn and respect our opponent before and after the match. Never a time where there's hate or ego's...Because if you have that, you will not do good at all and your emotions will get the best of you.

We always talk about our opponents and what to look out for and we give them props for being dominant at certain or several things. The best outcome of from our battles on the mat, is when they mess up and we or I capitalize on their mistake.
