  • Tebow becomes a NE Patriot.

    USA TODAY

    Odd.

Bill doesn't like media attention and Tebow attracts tons of it. Maybe this is what Tebow needs; no bs nonsense.

Good for him man. Like the Pats or not if any team would find a way to make him work it would be them. Hope it works out well for Tebow.

Under an amazing quarterback, and as much as I hate say it, an amazing coach.

If they use Tebow correctly, then I expect to see the Patriots severely confusing the defense. If he is just going to be a 3rd Stringer, then it will be benchville for him.

I've been kind of waiting to see how this would initially play out..I think the Patriots did a smart thing. Tebow is a worker, he's athletically talented, and they are getting a proven performer for league minimum no guaranteed money. And one that virtually guarantees no drama. Nothing to lose really..they either develop him as a QB, find out he is amazing at tight end, or cut him loose at the end of the year. And he gets a shot on one of the best teams in history.

Both their tight ends are potentially in trouble..don't get me wrong they are fucking phenomenal...But Gronkowski is struggling with multiple injuries-that aren't trivial, and Hernandez has been in trouble off the field before this murder issue came up...think it was coincidence they took a shot at Tebow...look at his athleticism 6'3 240, without trying to get big..the guy is a fucking stud and rocked the NFL combine runs a 4.6 40 and a 39 inch vertical.

Plus I honestly think with the right leadership and mentoring the guy can be a good NFL quarterback..all his issues are related to mechanics..hes big enough, strong enough, and athletic enough...we will see...I bet the Pats make it interesting with him though :)

Too small to be a tight end, isn't he? I am curious why the don't use him as a runner. He should be able to play fullback or be a lead blocker, right? He is big and fast enough for that. And you can use him on halfback option plays too, I would imagine, letting him throw.

Im not sure if hes too small honestly..he has never trained to be a tight end and as he sits now hes stacked for a quarter back. Gonzalez is 6'5 250 and a future Hall of Famer, Vernon Davis of the 49's is 6'3 250, Tebow is 6'3 240..hes at the small side height wise. Would probably depend on his hands honestly...I could see halfback options..but its hard to take the ball out of Brady's hands on a pass play...Either way its gonna be interesting to see how they develop him.

Rumor here in Massachusetts is that Hernandez will be let go; quite obvious IMO.

Could be some truth to that, the Krafts don't have tolerance for drama, and with the shooting lawsuit and this murder investigation, I could see that happen very easily....
