I'm going to lake Erie to go walleye fishing. I'm trying to expand my interests, even though I suck at fishing. Plus walleye have some big teeth!! I'll post a picture of the nightmare I'm sure to catch. Can I drink on the boat if I'm not driving?

Walleye are very good eating fish. All state laws are different but most BUI laws are for the Capt of the vessle. Not the passengers.

Thank god, it would be a long morning without something to do. I sure as hell can't fish, so I'll just drink and tell stories.

Caught one walleye. Felt sick as hell with all the waves, but I didn't blow chunks!

Nice. I love being on the water.

I was fishing down off of St. Georges island a few weeks ago.

The waves are the best part!

Any pics? I like seeing the different boats and fish from different parts of the country.

If you went out more, you'd feel less sick. Or just start slamming beers. That's what I do on my fishing trips (not because I'm sick, though) :P

Ripper - went Cobia fishing yesterday. That's fun for something different to do. And wow, I'd never eaten it raw before. It's awesome!

Nice. Never had raw fish right off the boat. Sounds like a great day.

This was the only walleye I caught. Everyone else caught bigger ones, but they were using some counting method and reeling in the lure. Too complicated for me. I dropped mine in the water and stuck the pole in this holder. And patiently waited. And tried to think about solid ground.

Counting was a way to determine how deep they were getting the lures based on amout of line out, depth lure would run at the speed boat was traveling. Gotta have the bait where the fish are at. Nice fish!

I loved seeing the rays down there. Next time I want to dive in to really get a good perspective of how massive those things are! Fun times :)

I swear I rarely ever take pictures, and then I'm annoyed I didn't! I will start now so I can make you jealous of all my delicious catch!

I saw some big grouper in the gulf when I went fishing there once. They looked bigger than me. Like big as a horse!
