When I was in high school I just wanted to play hockey and football. I started lifting to get in shape because I was over weight. After about a year of lifting I started making big gains and my love of training overtook my love of other sports. I quite playing football my senior year and started to get serious about body building. I played hockey in my first year of collage but the hockey program was dropped at the school I was going to. I did my first competition that year.

Bodybuilding is what drew me in to begin with but I've found myself in the heavy training that is more suited to the powersports....powerlifting/strongman
