Rocket, do you wear a full face helmet on your road king? When I had a sport bike I did but ever since I had a cruiser I always wear a half helmet.

I only wear full face. Fuck the half helmet. I've seen my mt biking buddies do face plants doing barely three miles and they get fucked up. I can only image the damage even at 35 mph.

These are not my pictures but guess what hits the ground first. Lol.

I should wear a full face but don't I should wear protective jackets/pants too. I'm the guy wearing jeans and sleeveless shirt with my half helmet that is made of thin plastic. lol I know it's not the smartest but I have a hard time enjoying riding when I'm dressed as a football player.

last bike I had a couple years ago was a KLR 650..loved it dirt street what ever. But I rode it in the dirt off road like a mad man..On street I drive very defensive. I had the full face helmet armored jacket armord pants ect. It took the fun out of it in the warm weather. But saved my ass when Id take a tumble in the dirt/ gravel ect. This bike will be weekend only trips in the country. Stay out of the citys/ traffic as much as I can. Just cruise and enjoy..no hot rodding BS like when I was younger.

I drive very defensive too but just last week when I was riding I had 2 people pull out in front of me within 15 minutes of each other. The first one was a bad stop sign (hard to see) but the second one was a young kids not paying attention. I was pissed and I made sure he knew it. The next stop light I was getting ready to get off my bike and have "a word" with him and he immediately started apologizing to me.

Makes me think a lot more now with kids.
