Only racism that I have noticed is coming from the black community.

O wait....never mind. I forgot that only white people can be racist.

And fuck Eric Holder, they better not attempt to make a federal hate crime case. Holder needs to be held accountable for his crimes.

Our black/white president is also great at dividing the country. What a joke.

I see both sides of the coin. Would I want some fat cop wannabe stopping my kid on the way back from the store and giving him shit? No, and the shit storm that would follow such behavior would in all likelihood have resulted in an ass kicking---to a grown man by a grown man. But I also know that my kids would have simply dialed the phone and called their dad, who would have promptly resolved the situation. So, I see the outrage and pain as a parent. But actions have consequences, and in this case the outcome was tragic.

If anything for me it was a reminder that life can change in the blink of an eye. Decision making, judgement, and ability all manifest itself in determining the outcome of a given situation.

From my view, what made this case so ridiculous was the desire for the media and special interest groups to generate a racial crisis. That's what made it angering to me. Not because of any race but simply because I watched our country of sheep become galvanized by the ridiculous, inept, and often just flat out false reporting that fanned this into charges that never should have been brought in the first place.

Doctored recordings by the media..pressure to bring charges to the prosecution, and everyday a so called expert standing on a soapbox and overlooking factual evidence to decry that Zimmerman was a racist. But most telling for me was how America ate it up with a spoon. That we are so driven by what we see on that big black box or read on Facebook that we fail to do even the most fundamental research on our own..that we simply believe it because we hear, see, or read it. As the world becomes smaller, it opens up your ability to analyze, to question, and to investigate from a variety of sources never available before. It allows for a personal freedom to determine facts on a level never before obtainable....but the inverse seems to be happening, our minds get smaller, our reasoning clouded, and we as a society question less.

This was a prime example of that. Got a little long winded there..sorry bout that;)

Should of see the looks I got at work yesterday.. I was having a phone conversation with my daughter...told her to ENSURE everywhere she went to have her pistol with her at all times for the next several weeks. To be smart about stopping for gas...assess the situation on whos "hanging out" ect... walk way around and groups hanging out in parking lots(walmart ,etc.) as a few cases of revenge beating have taken place and they have been reported on the news.Told her that she cant be too careful until this crap settles down.

3 black dudes I work with and consider them all friends, all great guys.. looked at me funny, but then said I was right for telling her to be safe because these young thugs today don't care about anything but 5 min of fame..

“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”
                            - Booker T. Washington

After centuries of oppression, feeling sorry or oneself can become a habit hard to break, IMO. Look at Jews and the Holocaust.

We are what we believe ourselves to be. If you think you are oppressed, then you will be.
