Housing may be guaranteed by the government in Ireland which changes things somewhat. If he lived in the States, he'd be totally out of luck.

I fail to understand how anyone can get this large. While clearly different folks have different metabolisms and lifestyles which affect their weight, this is out the range of reality. There is no way in heck a person can be this obese if they don't eat a lot. To me, it seems like a form of suicide.

Personally, I have little sympathy for anyone who abuses themselves in this way.
