one of our born and raised Local Troopers was killed in Afghanistan a week or so ago. His Body was escorted to the local funeral home yesterday by the Patriot Guard. Those sick bastards from the westboro babtist church said they were going to protest the soldiers funeral.
I rode down and asked if I could ride and was more then welcomed to.There was about 300 bikes riding with the guard escorting the herse and family to the church. When we arrived..the whole town was out..thousands of people.... lining the streets and there was about 200 other riders already arrived from clubs all around the area.
What a show of support for the family of this fallen trooper!!!
With the amount of soldiers lining the streets and blocking any access plus the riders around the family and circling the church, the local towns people...those idiots never showed...or just drove on thru if they did!!!...LOLO
Anyway, it felt good to see there is still pride in smalltown America and support for our troopers. Im gonna Join and start participating in more of this type stuff.
Heres just a few pics from today...
When I first arrived..maybe 75 bikes...when we left it was 5 deep completely around the funeral home.

last shot. we lead the hurst and the family to the burial site. Upon arrival, we lined the street up to his resting place...it was stretched out as far as you could see....
