Getting a puppy.

Not right away and not until after my baby girl is gone. Some may see it as "too soon" but it helps keep my mind a little positive and looking forward to something. The new pup will never replace my French Mastiff, just hopefully fill the void a little bit.

I am done with big dog breeds, they just die way too soon and they have leg issues along the way. So, the breed we are looking at is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. No they are not a pitbull, they are their own breed and only go up to 40lbs. They are the Lee Priest's of dogs, little guys with nothing but muscle. Probably going to go with a black and white one.

That too soon shit is nonsense. Anytime a dog goes to a loving home it's a good thing.

Many people confuse Staffies with pitts. Similar breeds but definitely different in many aspects. Beautiful dogs.

Not sure. We flew to Colorado for the French Mastiff to get the best quality line. Not against doing that again.

Research, research. We drove to St Louis to get our pit. It was definitely worth it, too.

Some friends gave us a Staffordshire puppy years ago. We didn't end up keeping it because we lived in a small apartment and felt bad, but they were great dogs. :thumb:

Not sure who said it but i read someone say that its never too early to adopt a shelter dog. I agree. Just make sure to find the right one for you. Good luck brother <3

Dobermans are where it's at. For me anyhow. Only bad thing is they have a very short life span (10 yrs or less).
