Just so happens I pulled up to park and paid for the ticket that unbeknownst to me expired at exactly 8:59pm. Got back to my car awhile later and a personal $50 gift from the city of Chicago was waiting for me...

1 fucking minute!!! If I had arrived or paid for the ticket just 1 minute later... :pissed:

i live in the north west suburbs of Chicago about 20 min drive. best of both worlds.

That's not a bad gig then...I can get to Pittsburgh in under an hour and Cleveland in a little over an hour. Far enough away from all the bullshit but close enough that it's not a major road trip to hit the city up.
