Sitting in traffic in san fran one of them flew by in between the cars and I shit you not his handle bar nicked our rental car mirror ever so slightly. insane.

I lane split all day long. It actually safer then it looks since cars are stuck bumper to bumper nobody cuts in front of you or changes lanes. But when it comes to riding in the city I trust no one. Too many idiots crossing the street like that or they don't see you and turn left right in front of you. I do not speed in the city and I have my spider senses turned up to the max. :grin:

Here is a fun fact, California is the only state out of all 50 that allows lane splitting. :thumup:

There are some dumb asses out there no doubt. Like beast I am VERY defensive on the bike in the citys/ towns. I trust NO ONE!!! Ride like your invisible is rule #1...Rule #2 is watch the front tire of any vehicle stopped ready to pull into traffic. and my rule #3 is NEVER ride in someones blind spot. Pass the asshole or stay behind..
