Not trying to defend this kind of stuff, but before you cast stones, remember that in Indian newspapers, the US constantly appears as the barbaric country where people can go buy a gun and blow away little kids in schools every other month. People there just shake their heads at every new school shooting and wonder what is wrong with the country. Believe me bro, the US comes across as a brutal, dangerous country to a lot of outsiders.
The point is that none of these things is defensible. There are very few places in the world (maybe Bhutan is the only exception) that don't have warts and ugliness in the midst of beauty. Everybody needs to work wherever they are to fix society's ills.

The media sells controversy. Its what they do. You wouldn't be reading the article if it talked about India's national puppy petting contest. The U.S. is notorious for this kind of thing as well. Not saying the act is okay at all, but if you have media outlets constantly focusing on negative information, it gets to feel like the sky is falling all over the whole fucking planet. There are shitbags planetwide, and we all know that since Cain beat Abel to death with a flip flop people do inherently evil things...and Ohhhh so many of them in the name of religion. There is good in this world everyday, and it trumps evil tenfold. You just don't hear about it. So here you go;)

Good for him man. A little story about good Karma: A few weeks ago in the parking lot of my apartment complex-when I got out of my truck I saw a pile of money laying on the ground next to somebody's car. I thought, I should do the right thing here, even though I still wanted to pocket it.lol So, I folded it up and stuck it in the side of their car door so they'd get it back when they came back out to leave.....Very next day at school, my battery took a shit and couldn't start my truck. Tried gettin a jump, didn't work. This complete stranger offered to give me a ride to the parts store for a battery. He drove me there, to his place for tools, then back to my truck and made sure I got back on my way. Never seen the dude before in my life. That's the "good" comin back around y'all. Do good karma and life goes much better for you, and everybody else :agreed:

Hell, before my mom came out to see me for my birthday, all she had heard on the news about chicago was shooting, murder, shooting, murder. Once she got here and went to the city she was almost surprised how clean and great the city was.
Fuck the news.
