Just because someone doesn't like to read it doesn't mean they're a stupid hick.lol. case in point: after 3 years in college and 60 credit hours I'm maintaining a 3.93 GPA. Was a flawless 4.0 until last semester when I got my first B in advanced physics/math. Not to sound full of myself, just sayin you don't hafta be a bookworm to be intelligent. :thankyou:

Only the books for my two english classes and short stories for essays. All the rest when I was supoosed to be reading?? Powerpoint slides and notes, fuck reading the textbooks.lol But yeah you're right I do have to read some, point is-takes up way too much of my time that I don't have enough of and I get incredibly bored staring at thousands of words. I watch less than an hour of tv per day, certainly don't have time in my life for books :thumb:Originally posted by FitnessBrat View PostGuarantee you were "reading" to get those A's.....:whistle

Don't agree with this at all, all jokes aside. If you are serious about math and physics, you will crack open your textbook and write down every proof or theorem by yourself and solve every problem that has been solved by the author as well as every problem at the end of the chapter. That is what is going to help you really understand the chapter content, not just the professor's class notes.
I have lived through this, so trust me on this.

Was physics for health technologies, more math than physics-applying formulas, etc. Not serious about either bro, just doing what I gotta do to get into my program. Hate Math classes, hate them. I'm more of a history and hands on experience kinda guy. Diagnostic medical Sonography is what I'm goin for if you were wondering...

And I do agree Scrum, if I had done what you suggested I'm sure I'd still have a 4.0 right now. I'm 33 yrs old, married with a little girl, and work fulltime midnight shift while going to school during the day. I'd have to give up weightlifting to apply even more time to my schooling. I've already cut time out of my gym life, refuse to cut any more. I've given up my social life and pretty much everything else for school and my family. Only "my time" left that I have is 3-4 90min workouts per week. All other spare time goes to chores and shit I'd rather not be doing as well...
