Fixed the headphone volume thing in a way. Got my gym headphones from the car (JVC Xtreme-Xplosivs) and the sound is def more powerful sounding. Could use a bit louder still but it's probably good for my ears as I like to fucken blast it. lol

Cool little details with this phone that make it really cool.

lets say you order a pizza from some place. Google, using it's massive database automatically gives you the name of the business instead of just some random number. What makes this kinda cool you ask? lol. Well lets say the pizza delivery place calls to tell you they are running late or the driver is lost etc.. Instead of some random number showing up in your caller ID, google knows it's the pizza place and will give you the name of the pizza place in your caller id even if you dont have them added in your address book.

it's one of those things you dont think you need until you have it and could never go back. acura called me this morning because I am due for an oil change. i immediately knew who was calling instead of waiting for them to leave a message.

this feature is applied to all businesses.

My phone got some attention last night from a few iphone users. I did't realize it but this phone sort of looks like a bigger version of the black iphone 5/5s. The nexus has much thinner bezels but you can't see that when the phone is off. I got a call and my screen lit up, room was a bit dark and the couple next to me both looked at my phone trying to figure out what it was. The screen really has to be seen in person to understand how crisp and clear it is. Anyway, they both loved it.. cool fucking story right?

Kind of funny but as good as the nexus is, I still find myself using my old HTC. It's still such a good phone it works perfectly as a "beater" phone. Just pull the sim out of the nexus and put it into the htc and I have a phone I can take on vacation or some place where I'm worried it might get lost, stolen, or broke. Definitely leaving the nexus at home when I go back to mexico in a few months. Still has a great camera and if it gets fucked up somehow it's no real loss because it was a contract phone. Fuck taking the risk on the $400+ phone.

Plus you don't even need the sim to update the phone as long as your on wifi it stays synched and up to date.

Still liking the nexus? Thought about ordering one. Love my BB, but it has been about 3 months and just looking to switch. Love my physical keyboard, but miss google maps and Pandora.

Best thing about BB is the hub, I go to one place for 2 mailboxes, sms, and more if desired.
