So yesterday am..I get settled into a tree and Im just above Sabrina on the same tree... Its just starting to crack very first light. An OWL fires off just a tree or two away!! very cool very loud..great experience. A few min later I hear wings and feel wind as the owl went inches from the top of my head...WOW talk about close!!! that was crazy. Sabrina heard the wings as it flew over. we whispered about it and thought it was cool.
fast fwd about 4 min...
I hear wings..look right and BAM It felt like a baseball hit me in the head!!! Damn OWL came at me from another direction and attacked me!!! Im like *&*^&%$%
it flies off and it was gone!!! CRAZY!!!! I had a light colored patch on my hat. Im thinking he thought it was a bird or a squirrel in the dark on the side of the tree maybe?
Now..this happened about 06:45 or so in the am....I took this pic at about 20:45 last night... you can see where two talons got me thru the hat and its still all red swollen a bit.... CRAZY Hu???!!!!! Just glad the bastard didn't get me a bit lower in the eye..I woulda been fucked!!
